I was lost for a time and wondered
Will I ever get up and stand
To face the world after it collapsed
Leaving me without a word was just hard.
I'd be lying if I'd say I do not remember
The times I thought would be forever
But long before I realized you mattered
The picture was there but I was no longer.
Tears soaked my face
With pain in my heart, I twisted
Inward bleeding cannot encapsulate
A much greater pain I bitterly felt
I wanted to hate you,but I couldn't
I love you too much to even start
However hard I tried to forget
I just could not, really could not!
